About Scrumagic
Scrumagic is a browser-based Scrum training simulator. You take one role on a six-person team and run a fictional project from vision to release, while AI teammates play everyone else.
What it is for
Reading about Scrum and facilitating it are different skills. Scrumagic lets you practise the second one: you take a role, make the calls that role owns, meet the consequences in the next sprint, and see how you did on a scorecard. It is a scorecard, not a certificate.
The simulation is built on the SBOK® Guide (Fifth Edition) process. The ideas you practise, such as ordering a backlog, a Definition of Done and timeboxed events, apply under the Scrum Guide too.
You can start free with the first phase of any scenario. See the scenarios and the plans.
Who builds it
Scrumagic is built and operated by Bepmpro, a project management training and advisory company. We built it because we saw people pass Scrum exams without ever having to facilitate a difficult sprint. Visit Bepmpro (opens in a new tab)
The Scrumagic team holds the Scrum Master Accredited Certification and the Scrum Trainer Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute, and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® credentials from the Project Management Institute.
We do not put individual names on the site. The product and the blog speak for the team, and the team answers for them.
How the AI teammates work
Five named characters, each with a fixed role and personality, who remember your earlier decisions during a run. A large language model, reached through OpenRouter, writes their lines, and the model behind them can change as better ones appear. The process, the decision options and the scoring are fixed rules in our code, so a score never depends on how a model answered that day.
We do not send your name, email address or account ID to the AI provider. What you type into a simulation is sent, so keep personal details out of it. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
How the blog is made
Posts are drafted with the help of AI, then read, checked against their sources, corrected and approved by a member of the team before they are published. The blog page How we write has the detail, including how to report a mistake.
