How the Scrumagic simulator works: the scenarios, the roles, the steps, and what you will see on the way.
Legacy Migration is the hardest scenario in Scrumagic. A water company's billing system runs on servers whose lease ends in eighteen weeks, and the job is to move it without changing a single invoice. The work is invisible, the stakes are exact to the cent, and the sponsor cannot see progress. This walkthrough covers the project, the people and the decisions, with no spoilers.
Hospital Data Platform is an expert scenario in Scrumagic. A hospital needs bed-occupancy and wait-time dashboards before winter pressure begins. The code works on clean samples and the real data does not. This walkthrough covers the project, the people and the decisions, with no spoilers.
Logistics API is an advanced scenario in Scrumagic. A freight company has a fixed budget and twelve weeks to launch a tracking and rate-quote API before its biggest partner goes live. The users are developers, and once they build on it, changing course gets expensive. This walkthrough covers the project, the people and the decisions, with no spoilers.
Donation Portal is an intermediate scenario in Scrumagic. A food bank has a fixed budget, a grant that expires with the giving season, and a board, a major donor and a volunteer coordinator who all want something in the first release. This walkthrough covers the project, the people and the decisions, with no spoilers.
The Developer is where Scrum asks for honest estimates and real commitments. In Scrumagic you cast your own planning poker vote, break stories into tasks, report at the standup and demonstrate the increment, with a team that behaves like a real one. This post follows a run from the developer's chair, phase by phase, with no spoilers.
A first Scrumagic run takes you from choosing a project and a role to your first decision at a gate. You meet your team, open the first phase, read the inputs, watch the ceremony and decide. Then you stop, because the next step opens tomorrow. Here is what each screen shows and what to do on it.
In Scrumagic you play one of three roles for the whole run: Scrum Master, Product Owner or Developer. The AI plays the rest. The Scrum Master facilitates and removes blockers, the Product Owner decides what is built and in what order, and the Developer estimates and commits. This post explains what each role asks of you and who each suits.
Scrumagic is a Scrum training simulator. You take one role on a six-person team, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Developer, and AI teammates play the other five. You run a fictional project from the sponsor's first request to release, making the calls a real team would face, one step a day.
